Latin Phrases

Latin phrases are simply brilliant at times in succinctly expressing ideas. Take the following ones for example.

Vi veri veniversum vivus vici
"By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe."

Cogito ergo sum
"I think, therefore I am"

Si vis pacem, para bellum
"If you wish for peace, prepare for war"

Per aspera ad astra
"Through hardships to the stars"
